Note 1: previous demo testers can use an originally supplied Xtra32.DAT key also with an updated demo but an old Xtra32.DLL will not work, a new demo request has to be made.

Note 2: for those only interested just in viewing CATT PLT- and OGL-files the standalone viewers can be downloaded instead.

Note 3: in a few cases it has happened that the separate data-installer did not start when CATT-Acoustic was run for the first time (calculations will then fail since no Surface properties library can be found). If so, close CATT-Acoustic and run the installed cattdemo_data.exe and when restarting CATT-Acoustic select File|Preferences and confirm the CATTDATA folder and select your Prefs.

DDI White Paper

07-SEP-1998, 39 kB, describing the DDI API basic principles. This document is now more of historical interest, and loudspeaker manufacturers with array products can instead request an up-to-date whitepaper by e-mail regarding the various options to create DDI modules. A more recent development (late 2003) offers a very simple and clean way to implement a DLL where the manu- facturer only needs to write the core array modeling code without having to learn the complete details of the DDI.
