Note 1: if you have an old demo version installed uninstall it first and then also delete the old Xtra32.DAT license-file from the old
installation folder, the uninstall process will not do it since the file was added after the installation.

Note 2: in a few cases it has happened that the separate data-installer did not start when CATT-Acoustic was run for the first time.
Calculations will then fail since no Surface properties library can be found, or if not used a Predict SxR TUCT will fail. If so, close
CATT-Acoustic and run the installed cattdemo_data.exe and after restarting CATT-Acoustic select File | Preferences and
confirm the "CATTDATA " folder and then select your Prefs.

Note 3: for those only interested in viewing v8 PLT-files, v9 PL9-files or OGL-files the standalone viewers can be downloaded instead.

This presentation is now of historical interest only, the DDI interface is no longer developed but is with v9.1/TUCT v2 replaced by a flexible open array description format (CTA) not requiring DLL programming.

GratisVolver™

• a convolver for mono, stereo or 4-channel (typically B-format) WAV-file impulse responses (IRs)
• can also be used to "deconvolve" measured sweeps (sweep-files included)
• IR display (lin/log, %/dB-scale, time-scale, fast IR draw option, display re full scale, graph copy)
• separate modes for IR convolving and deconvolving wet sweeps
  
• WAV-file playing (individual playing of input file, IR and processed file)
• a self-contained small software (107 kB) specially made to encourage listening to and convolving
  with measured room IRs in WAV format.
• if IRs in a room, or across rooms, have been measured  in a compatible way (mic preamp settings,
  same loudspeaker etc.) the output WAVs can optionally be relative calibrated so that the sound at
  a close-up receiver is stronger than that of a far away one. v1.4 and below always scaled the output
  WAVs to full 16-bits.

GratisWavPlayer™

• a no-frills WAV-file player for mono and stereo WAV-files
• plays indivudual files, A/B or via a playlist
• optinal looping (v1.0b)
  
• a self-contained small software (38 kB) specially made to encourage simple listening tests.
  
• Note: for CATT-Acoustic users and demo testers: place GratisWavPlayer™ in your CATT folder with CATT-A >= v8.0f it will be listed on the File | External CATT Tools menu
